Microsoft Word now has lots of great features to help students overcome these difficulties. Unbelieveably this transformational functionality is FREE if you already own Office 365. If you don’t, you can access most of the functionality free of chare using Word Online
Rather than trying to describe the features I’ve created videos to show it working.
To introduce this functionality I’ve explaining why helping students that struggle with reading is so very important for academic success.

Word Online is totally FREE. It can be used on any device if it can access to the internet. All you need in a free Microsoft account.

Office 366 - Word - Learning Tools
Learning Tools functionality can be used for not only reading but also editing documents. It helps students achieve higher grades.
A subscription is required but many students and teachers can access a free educational copy through their school / college. More details on the video.
