How do we get such impressive results?
Over the years I have been able to continually improve how I teach students.
The secret is simple, the more students practise the more they improve.
It takes a lot of practise to develop the necessary muscle memory, speed & accuracy.
Hence success has a LOT to do with the student’s motivation.
How do we motivate students?
The group dynamic is highly motivational.
While I do teach on a one-to-one basis, I recommend children attend a group course as most learn better in a group environment.Being a parent of three dyslexic children I understand first-hand how critical parent support is. The course is a collaboration with parents. which is contributing factor to success.
Students and parents are informed regularly of progress. This spurs students on to improve more.
We help students develop their own intrinsic motivation by teaching every student exactly how they can get better marks when they type.
Intrinsic motivation reduces the need for parental reminders (nagging) thus helping maintain family harmony.
Students are prompted to practise by individual texts and weekly prizes for progress.
Fun games and rewards are also used to encourage practise.
We have weekly prizes of Amazon vouchers which help some students do more practise.
