Technologies & Touch Typing for Academic Success
Parent Information
Thank you for investing in this course - we want to help set you and your child(ren) up for success!
Our goal is to help students become proficient typists AND learn how to use technology to get better grades. All in just one school holiday.
After teaching students to touch type for many years, I am now convinced that this is the most cost-effective and efficient way of acquiring these skills.
I must warn you learning to type takes a lot of practice. Unfortunately, there is no other way to build the necessary muscle memory. Understandably, some students are reluctant to do daily typing practise.
Over the years we’ve learned strategies to keep students motivated. Partnership with parents is key to helping students acquire this vital skill.
Webpages for parents
We send emails to keep parents informed.
Knowing it can sometimes be hard to locate emails when needed we also supply all the information parents require on these web pages. They provide generic course information to parents regardless of which course is booked.
Specific information can be found on each course registration page
