RNIB Bookshare
RNIB Bookshare supply electronic textbooks to students with a print disability.
Electronic textbooks are a potentially transformative learning tool for learners that struggle to take comprehensive notes while being taught. They help dyslexics because they can:
Be read aloud
Use Open-dyslexic font
Change the background and text colours
Be cut and pasted into revision apps
UK education collection membership is for educators supporting learners with print disabilities.
It is provided FREE to organisations in the UK. There is a small annual membership fee for non UK organisations.
